The Bronx is where the region’s northbound highways meet. I-95 crosses the borough as the Cross Bronx Expressway and continues as the New England Thruway toward Connecticut, I-87 runs up the west side as the Major Deegan toward Westchester, and the Bruckner Expressway links it all to the Triborough and Whitestone approaches. For our chauffeurs that means the Bronx is both a destination and the corridor for most trips to Westchester, Connecticut and the Hudson Valley.

Neighborhood pickups differ block to block. Riverdale’s streets are hilly and winding, City Island is reached over a single bridge, and the Grand Concourse and Fordham Road carry heavy bus traffic. A pickup note on the reservation helps the chauffeur choose the right corner.

Yankee Stadium at East 161st Street draws the biggest group bookings in the borough, and the Major Deegan beside it slows well before first pitch. The Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Garden share Bronx Park, so a family or school group can cover both in one hourly booking with a lunch stop on Arthur Avenue in Belmont. Wave Hill in Riverdale is a regular stop for garden tours and small events.

LaGuardia is the closest airport, about 8 miles and 20-40 minutes from most Bronx addresses across the Whitestone or RFK Bridge. Westchester County Airport is about 18 miles north and often quicker than JFK for northern Bronx neighborhoods. JFK is about 20 miles and Newark about 22 miles, the latter by the George Washington Bridge and the New Jersey Turnpike.
