Westchester County lies directly north of New York City and is home to some of the region's most affluent communities. Cities and towns like White Plains, Scarsdale, Rye, and New Rochelle combine suburban tranquility with easy access to Manhattan. Westchester is also home to Westchester County Airport (HPN), providing a convenient alternative to the major NYC airports. Our Sprinter service connects Westchester residents and visitors to Manhattan, all area airports, and destinations throughout the tri-state region. The Hutchinson River Parkway, I-95, and the Saw Mill River Parkway are our primary corridors.

Westchester trips start from very different places: downtown White Plains office towers and hotels, corporate campuses along I-287 in Purchase, Rye Brook and Tarrytown, and residential streets in Scarsdale, Bronxville, Larchmont and Chappaqua. Private-road pickups in the northern towns such as Bedford and Katonah work best with a gate code or a meeting point noted on the reservation.
HPN sits on the New York-Connecticut line near Purchase and Armonk, 5-20 miles from most of the county. It has a single commercial terminal and a busy general-aviation side, which makes it a practical alternative to the city airports for Westchester and Fairfield County travelers. The Sprinter meets commercial arrivals at the terminal and private flights at the FBO the operator names.
For groups who would rather fly from a major hub, LaGuardia is about 20 miles away, and JFK and Newark are each about 35 miles.
Manhattan is about 25 miles and 30-50 minutes from central Westchester by I-87 or I-95, starting at $600 one way. Metro-North is fast for one commuter, but a group with luggage or several stops moves more easily together. Up the Hudson, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow and the Kykuit estate are popular day trips, and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge on I-87/I-287 opens the way to Rockland County.
